Kubica undergoes final surgery
Robert Kubica underwent his final operation on Wednesday at the Santa Corona hospital where he is staying since his crash. The Pole had surgery for eight hours as the doctors treated the complex fracture to his elbow, stabilising and reconstructing the damaged fragments of the joint structure. "At the end of the surgery, the doctors were pleased with the outcome, with the procedure being completed successfully," said his Renault team in a statement.
