Daly moves to GP3 with Carlin

Star Mazda champion Conor Daly will join the GP3 Series with Carlin this season. The 19-year-old American, son of ex-Formula 1 and IndyCar racer Derek Daly, is to dovetail his GP3 programme with a partial season in Indy Lights, contesting all non-clashing races with champion team Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Daly's GP3 move will mark the first time he has raced in Europe bar a brief Formula Ford 1600 programme at the end of 2008, during which he won the Walter Hayes Trophy
